I am an American living in the UK for the past 14 years but I now consider myself an honorary Brit! I work as a Cloud Engineer and I live in Suffolk with my wife and three kids.

My woodcarving journey started in 2019. Because I have a career in technology, I spend a lot of my time in front of a computer screen. I love woodcarving because not only is it a creative outlet but it also gives me the opportunity to create things with my hands.

I mainly enjoy carving little figures, anywhere between 2 and 6 inches tall. I also have started to carve marionette puppets which have been really enjoyable projects.

As far as materials, I use lime (or linden) as my main source of wood and for paints I use acrylic paints.
